Gti 130 Rear Seat Problem

I have a 2020 Gti 130 and my rear seat is stuck on due to the release latch breaking on one side. Does anyone have any advice on how to remove the seat without damaging anything else? Thank you in advance for any advice

Did you ever get an answer? This literally just happen to me and I can't get the rear seat off?

No answers I’m going to mess with it tomorrow, I’ll let you know what I figure out.

I was able to get mine off by carefully pulling back on the latch and with a screwdriver reaching in and pushing on the spring. The spring is like a large paperclip holding the seat on. You should be able to see it with a flashlight.
Normally there is a price of plastic attached to the latch and when pressed it pushes on the spring. On mine the plastic piece broke. found the part number 269003778.
