gp1200 01 (need help)

Hi this guy wants to sell me a 01 gp1200 but it has a piston break thats what he say, but he will sell it to me for 100 dollars is it worth it?

How hard is it to fix?

Wrong forum, that ski is a Yamaha. But for $100 it is worth it. It needs a new engine most likely because the oil line to #3 cylinder broke off, or the powervalve broke and fell into the cylinder hitting the piston. Regardless it needs a new engine.

Heck yeah i bought one last year $600 same thing oil line came off, honed the cylinder and put in a used piston and put in all new rings ran great.
