Minor issue but would like some ideas. The plastic hinges on my 13 year old boat gave out, not too surprisingly. They are riveted to both the boat & the cover. I'd like to find a replacement (metal or plastic) & a way to fasten them on. I've looked at a couple hand-help pop-rivit tools but haven't actually used one so I wasn't sure if that was the way to go, assuming I can find a pair of hinges that will work!
I poked around a Lowe's to see what might work but didn't see anything good. I guess I should probably check the OEM part websites too! :D

Our hinge wasn't broken, but the rivets on the left side fell off so that side was dangling. Just just a regular rivet gun to reattach.

LOL
I'm not too bright. It finally dawned on my to click the link FROM THIS SITE !!!
seadoowarehouse.com has the hinges for $4.49 each & even the rivets, although when I buy the rivet gun from Harbor Freight, it comes with several assorted sizes. Just glad to know that will work! (Thanks El Toro)
Ordering tonight....

A lot of times the parts appear to be available till you add to cart and order. It may be obsolete. Post a pic. I've had to repair the storage area hinges on my speedster.

They waiting to get the hinges from Bombardier.....oh well. Hopefully just a few more days.
Here's a pic of the left hinge; both split down the crease within days of each other. I ordered a spare pair, figuring they won't be available next time I need them!

I used a small drill-bit & drilled out the center of the rivets. One piece dropped into the middle of the door & rattled a little bit but I didn't see a way to get it out so I don't worry about it!
I used a small pop-riveter to put the hinges in; they use two different sizes for the boat-side & the door-side.
