Getting some help when backing into the garage :-)

Installing a winch to pull the boat into garage for the last 30 feet after I back up it onto the driveway. I only have a couple of inches clearance on either side to go through the garage door.
So I hope this will make it easier when doing it by myself.

It's more fun by getting "a running start". (kidding!) Wooden blocks on the floor at the opening will provide a safety spacer.

Great idea, just curious. How are you going to power it? I've got a hand winch I use for changing ski's from the trailer to a work stand, similar setup.

Kind of thinking the same.

I know you already have that... but Harbor Freight sells a small winch that's 110v.

Was looking for a 110V one. But cannot find a fare price in Canada. It needs to be powered by a battery.
