Getting ready for the water

This is my first full season with the boat. I had it winterized in the fall and I was wondering what needs to be done to prep it for the water? I know with past experience and our Sea Doo Explorer, I had to remove clips from the oil inject line. Is there anything like this on the Mercs? Or do you basically drop it and go?

Thanks

If it was winterized correctly, drop it in and go. When I winterize I also change the spark plugs and pump cone oil. If those items were done, you are good. I al inspect the oil injection system. Check the lines to make sure they are all good. Change the filters if it hasnt been done in a couple years.

lol, no worries. I am pretty sure I am good to go but like I said with our 95 Explorer there were a couple of things we needed to do first. There were some kind of clamps on the injection lines and I don't see anything like that on this boat but I just wanted to make sure.

Anyone else have anymore input on this? Thanks.

I've replied to your PM to me, but in case it helps anyone else: Mercury SportJets require nothing specific for de-winterization if they were properly winterized. Reinstall the battery, make sure you have fuel (and if you do, I hope it was treated!), hook it up to the garden hose and start it on the trailer. You should be good to go.
