Gauges not working

'96 XP. Got it out on the water for the first time since buying it and none of the gauges are working. There's a little bit of corrosion on the needle of the tilt gauge.

I'm also getting an occasional steady beep. It seems to get quieter as I slow down...

It is possible that the corrosion is worse than it appears. Try cleaning it up and see if it works better. The steady beep is a high temp. engine problem. Be sure the engine is getting enough cooling through it.

The beep started not all that long after getting on the water. Not sure how it would be overheating. The gas light was on as well.
