fuse holder melted, can't find replacement, can I use...

I have a '92 GTX that's been having some problems. Opened the electrical box and something in there is heating up and caused one of the fuse holders and the plastic insulation on some of the wires to melt. I replaced the wires and my Dad's trying to track down what's causing things to heat up in the box.

My other issue is that I can't find a replacement fuseholder for the 92 GTX anywhere. I found a couple for '91's and although they look different, I'm thinking they will work. In my mind a fuse holder is a fuse holder. Is this correct or should I be looking for something different?

if wires and fuse holders are melting the fuse ain't blowing soon enough. means somebody got tired of changing 5's so they put in 20's. the fuses are blowing because something is wrong. that has to be found and fixed. then worry about the fuse holder.

I'm already trying to figure out what the problem is (see original post). The correct fuses were used. The fuses aren't blowing. Something in the electrical box is getting hot causing this stuff to melt.

What I need to figure out is what I can use to replace the melted fuse holders since I can't find the same fuse holders.
