Hi

I would like to add a fresh water shower to my seadoo utopia, but the sea doo manuals do not seem very usefulf to decipher the lay out of the fuse board.

I see 16 terminals on the fuse board but only 12 fuses slots which suggests to me that at least in some instances, multiple terminals may share one fuse. However I cant find a diagram that describes which terminal is associated with which fuse. The wiring diagram I found in the manual seem to cover the fuses but not the terminal points.

Any ideas?

I just looked over the schematic, and it shows the fuses, and how they are wired. So... I think I'm missing your question.

You can use any of the open fuse slots to feed power to a fresh water pump.

Here's the one I installed into my Islandia. (the stock one was rotten) Just an FYI... if you aren't in a rush... they go on sale all the time. I've seen them as low as $9 !!!!!!!!! (I bought a spare when that happened) But... normally... they will drop down to $20 once a month. So... sign up for their email sale info.

I think I may have just exposed my lack of electrical knowledge lol. All I am trying to decipher is how the 16 terminals (especially the open ones) are wired through12 fuses. If there were 16 corresponding fuses I would be able to easily match them but because there are only 12, I am not sure which terminals are sharing fuses. See the attached picture of my board.

Make sense?

is it more complicated than putting in just one fuse at a time then checking each terminal with a volt meter to create your own mapping? If the terminal has voltage, then it is on that fuse.

Yep... what Jake said. Put a meter on the terminal, and pull the fuse. But... as you already were thinking... there will be a couple on one fuse.

Unfortunately... the spade terminals aren't listed on the schematic. But... I have a good version for my Islandia. I'll see if that one has more info.

I checked over all the books I have... and the spade terminals aren't listed. Knowing BRP... they bought a fuse block from a secondary manufacture (they basically only make the hulls)... and the external terminals probably weren't in the original design.

Sorry I couldn't give you more info.
