Fuel Stabilizer

Hi Guys,
Looking for your opinions! I am looking at a 2008 Speedster 150 215hp. Owner states he has never used fuel stabilizer - like Stabil - though there has been times he has not used the boat for 6 months or more - he claims he never have had a problem. Properly most of you are using stabilizer?, but would you consider it a no go that no stabilizer has never been used?

That should not be used in deciding to or not buy to a boat. Not even sure Stabil works as advertised but it can't hurt to use it.

No issues. For YEARS when I lived up north I didn't use it. Topped the tanks off to prevent condensation and winterized the toys. Never had an issue.

I do use it now, but just because more than an official reason.
