Can I just soak the valve in chem dip or is this something you should go purchase? I cant tell how bad it is as its still on the ski but its a 2001 seadoo and it had the grey tempo lines.

I just bought a new one, under 20$ it was worth the peace of mind to me

Long live the 2 stroke Seadoo!

Thanks Adam, I thought they were alot more than that. Where did you get it from?

New is probably the way to go as they really are pretty cheap. I have seen several clean them with carb cleaner. That said, they MUST be cleaned well. The green goo is a very common issue within the fuel selector.

Screw the aftermarket ones...crappy plastic.

They just recently started carrying OEM ones again...I have one in stock and ready to ship.

Minnetonka4me now you have me worried about the one i installed on my xp haha. What are the issues with the plastic ones? do they leak or has anyone had any issues with them?

i wasn't suggesting the $15 plastic ones.

I was suggesting the $20 ones that SBT offers. I've used them with absolutely zero issues

what is the cost of new OEM shipped ?

I need a selector valve for a 951 RX though. Isnt there a difference?

i believe the 951's are different, the others 657/717/787 are universal

and maybe,, with nick's new info, the 951's are in stock at the dealer, because I myself have never seen an aftermarket selector for 951 (not saying they don't exist, I just haven't seen one)
