When I bought my 1998 seadoo speedster, I was delighted to find that the old grey fuel lines had been replaced. Recently its been having trouble with the engines dying at idle and the left engine won't get to full RPMs unless it has been warmed up for 15-20 minutes.
Anyway, I was checking everything over and I spotted some of that nasty grey tubing coming out of the fuel pump. The line into the fuel pump is good and the line from the fuel pump to the carb are both good, but there is a third line that heads down from the fuel pump toward the engine. This is the original nasty grey fuel line. It is #34 in this diagram: http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.com/seadooforums/showmodel.asp?Type=13&make=seadoojb&a=171&b=14&c=0&d=-FUEL-SYSTEM
The diagram only says it goes to the "Engine". Anyone know what this line does? Do I need to replace the line? Can it wait until the season is over?
On a side note, I'm planning on replacing the fuel filters and spark plugs to see if that helps it run smoother. All advice is appreciated.
