I'm a new member of seadoo forum and just want to say thanks this is an awesome site. I have already learned so much about sea-doos already. I have a 2000 gti which the gas gauge only works some of the time and the same holds true for the speedometer I would like to fix these myself any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks sea-doo daddy

I have a 97 Challenger Boat and my Speedo doesn't work either. My Mechanic check the guage and the pickup and both are working properly. He said the MPEM isn't sending the info from the pickup to the guage. So I go without knowing my speed until I get a GPS.

I have a 2000 gti and ran into the same issue. I fixed it by replaceing the unit that extends down into the fule tank. That alone fixed all fule gauge issues. As far as the speedometer, I had to clean out the little tiny spin wheel at the back of the machine. if you look at the bottom of the ski in the back where the jet nozzle is you will see a small spin wheel. See if there is twin or something stopping the wheel from rotating.

Thanks for the info its a good place to start, I enjoy working on sea-doos in my free time especially in the off-season, this is a fantastic place to gather info I will be revisiting often!:)
