Fuel filter

Is it required that you use the seadoo fuel filters are can any type filter be used as long as it fits the hoses?

An automotive inline fuel filter will work, try a Fram G2.

g2 and g12 are 5/16 is there a 1/4 out there with fram that is still a good choice ?

1/4 inch line seems to fit nice and tight on the 5/16 filter.

I also prefer the 5/16" filter with a 1/4" fuel line, it maybe just a theory but I think it gets more fuel flow.
