Fuel Filter instead of oil filter?

Hi, i was just wondering if anybody knew if there was a difference in the way that an inline fuel filter and an inline oil filter filters gas and oil respectively. Basically my questions is can we use a universal fuel filter as an oil filter in our 2 stroke pwc's. thanks

Anyways his answer was to use an OEM filter ONLY....Don't substitute.
No one makes an inline oil filter that can be used in Seadoo motor. My dealer sells them for about $13.

for the record, you can use the oil filter as a water filter also if you're jetting your pipes, it does a pretty good job.

what do you mean jetting the pipes? like hooking it up to that flushing hose?
