Noticed 2 things not working properly this weekend. First, was the fuel gauge. At one point it was stuck on E even though it was full, which was annoying because the low fuel beep kept sounding. Eventually it started reading full and seemed to be accurate. The problem was when I got it rough water, it would drop to E for a second, then go back to normal. The problem, was the annoying beep that followed. I'm wondering if that just sounds like a sticking float? I've read about the fuse that can blow and the magnets that can fall out, but I wouldnt think those would give sporadic readings. Any thoughts?
The other thing was my water temp was reading 99˚. I'm certain that was not the temp. Can anyone point me to where the sensor would be?
