HI,

I am now getting round to fitting the seats back into my boat but I can't work out how the front seat backrest is fitted.

I know it is held on with the push in type headlining clips but how the heck do you get it back on? The head of the clip is in the boat and there is no way to get at the back of it to stop it falling in the hull when you push the backrest back on? Normally I would hold the back of the clip but it's just not possible and I have no idea how they did it in the factory.

Many thanks

Andy

Yep that's the one, how on earth did they fit them in the hull there? There is no access to the back of it except through the ski locker and I don't think the world record holder for longest arms could get their hands up there.

Do you have any ski locker sized kids? :willy_nilly: That looks impossible, if it were mine I would be coming up with a new clip system, hopefully sombody on here has the answer.

i don't know if they make it but you need sort of a double ended dart where it has barbs on both ends with the "base" in the center..

like this ---|---

^Thats what you need, or push the existing darts into the hull and remove the seat cover and push new darts through the seat first, put cover back on and push darts into hull with the seat.

Boom, cablebandit got ya covered. What makes you a cable bandit?

HA...ill make it as short as possible:

Online Nascar racing in the 90s...name was BANDIT....back before cable modems were out. Once you had cable modem speed (less lag) , you put CABLE in front of your name and you were allowed into more servers to race.

They look perfect for the job, I will have to find some in the UK though but they must be available.

Many thanks

Andy
