Fouling Plugs GTX RFI

H E L P ! 2001 GTX RFI Sea-Doo runs strong for about 5 To 8 minuets gets worse and worse until plugs are fouled , what iv have done is clean fuel tank and change fuel filters, change oil filters replace factory injection oil lines, oem plugs and injectors flushing fuel lines, compression 176 psi each cylinder, check oil pump alignment notches, with throttle closed, dead on, ski starts right up and idles great The Last Owner said he deleted the oil injection system and then reinstalled it , that how i bought it . Could he could of put the wrong pump on? He probably was having the same issue that's why he deleted oil injection? OR FOUND OUT YOU CANT DELETE RFI MODELS........ when on the water I try not to idle to much 1/2 throttle to warm up then open it up soon it will start to spuder and gradually worsen till plug fouls 10/ 15 min. top / don't mind doing maintenance on my skis but this is all i do, NO ski time. Thank you in advance for any input or direction you can give me.

BR8ES Plug and yes the oil pump is set with grove marks lined up
are there different oil pumps for GTX RFI 2001 model / and can i adjust the marks for less oil /// feel like a turd the grand kids were all excited last year to go out on water was a bit of a let down after 8 min of sheer enjoyment

I had this issue on a 1999 GTX rfi a long time ago and it was recommended that I go from BR8ES to BR7ES and it ran fine after that. Are you getting a lot smoke on start up? That could be an indication that your inner crank seals are leaking bad and possibly fouling out your plugs.

guessing BR7ES is a hotter plug / not alot of smoke on start up at first i did before i cleaned out the fuel lines of pre mix when changing out the injectors / how can i check the crank seals ? thanks for your response

You could do a pressure test on the rotary valve drive gear cavity but if it sits for a while and doesn’t smoke a lot on start up then they might be fine. These machines also require a certain rated oil I would not use anything else. I use the Seadoo full synthetic or Amsoil interceptor oil. An outside chance the injectors could use a good cleaning. I believe the ignition system is CDI which relies on battery voltage being correct I did a voltage regulator upgrade on the 1999 which helps with all the electrical load fuel pumps etc. OSD sells them not sure if it was an issue on the 2001’s.
