Florida Vacation Rentals

I'm looking for a Florida vacation rental for next winter (2013) probably in Feburary. Like to find a single family home with a pool that is pet friendly and will offer monthly rates. It must sleep at least eight. Thanks in advance.:)

griz; Thanks, I'll look these over. We "wintered" in the Tampa area for several years, but family obligations kept us away for awhile and now we are looking for a new place in the sun.

off that site, u can find any city in florida if u search it, we styed there a few years back, is real nice, try siesta key beach area, got voted best beach in usa last year, ana maria island nice also

Gotta ask, Is Busch beer still the beer of choice in that area? Our old place was about thirty minutes from Busch Gardens.

they dont have the brewery tour at busch gardens with the free beer anymore, i live actually in brandon, just an extension of tampa, u should bring a boat or a ski when u come down, check out caladesi island, honeymoon island area, caladesi island is only acessable by water, if its rough, u can run the intercoastal waterway, from honeymoon island, clear down to clearwater beach, real nice area. -- google caladesi and honeymoon islands, then back out and catch the full picture -- and its where your wife and kids can find early morning BIG shells

Sounds great, we are talking to someone now about a single family home with pool north of Tampa, see how it plays out. We thought about the skis, but 1300 miles is a long way to tow them. I'm sure we could rent some if the urge strikes, as long as I can go fishing a few times I'm happy.

Ski will rent for $200+ for a few hours. EACH.

PS...I'm having trouble replying to the posts tonight...anybody else?

When we go don to Florida, we always rent houses with pools. The sites I use are.

They all have some nice places and some owners are very reasonable. you can also find stuff under vacation rentals if you pull up the local craigslist for the area you are traveling to.
