first water trial went bad 1995 speedster

hey guys the boat ran excellent for about an hour I set the idle on both new engines and ran great for about an hour and then the impossible happened
the exhaust on both engine come off at the elbow-water was going everywhere we made it back to the truck.

engines still start rightup I hope I did not hurt them
I just ordered all new rubber bushings for the exhaust and I found out that the previous owner stripped a hole out in the exhaust manifold so im trying to get one off ebay.

when I get all parts im going to locktight the bolts in
should I use blue or red for this

at first the only leak I had was at the bilge pump water was running in when I shut the pump off-after a little while it stoped comeing in though and everything seemed fine

Wow! I was only able to blow the cone off. Must have been one of those "PANIC!" situations with water coming in

yes I just about craped my pants when I saw all the water going everywhere
so im going to try it again I have brand new rubber bushings for the exhaust a good ebay exhaust manifold with no stripped out holes in it and new gaskets.
I will use blue lock tight this time just to make sure everything stays together.
