First boat - can you haggle? What did you pay?

Is that a new engine? I'm leary of buying the first year of anything? What do you all think?

The 255hp engine is the same as the 215hp engine just with a little more power, and the rotax 4 strokes have been around since 02

The 255HP is the exact same as the 215HP, it just has an even bigger supercharger on it though. Can someone please let me know where they read that the 255HP engine was confirmed? As of a few weeks ago my BRP rep told me it was still an unknown to them.
Does anyone know when the 09 details will be released on the website?
I'm in the same "boat" as some of you. I am waiting until January to pick up a non current Challenger to save some cash and perhaps some better incentives. I want to know if they are going to leave the 215HP in the 180, go to 255HP, or go dual 155HP's.

It actually looks like the 200 Speedster will not get the 510hp option this year, but will come standard with the 430hp package. Also there is a new line of Ski this year called the IS (intelligent suspension) which will have 6 inches of suspension travel.

Also I notice you have a new avatar, does that mean you picked up a new ride?

i ve heard all boats will have the 255 option weather they have single or twins but like i said just what ive heard.... if you go to seadoo.comthe release date is only 4 days away. also the new rxt and gtx have a inner hull and an outer hull. The inner hull floats on an air bladder, making it feel like an air ride suspension is where ive heard... LOL no new ride for me just a dream, my avtar is the 2009 speedster 200 i am thinking about upgrading next season so who knows.... ill buy used unless they have a 510hp version but i think your right about no 510 option in the speedster 200.
