Fire damaged 4-tec sportster - my latest project

Now that I think about it. I think the middle seat is held on the same way. Try pulling it up. I think I was just confused because that was the only one of mine that didn't fall out. It has the fuel tank access under it.

Edit: I was wrong on this. The middle seat is held similar to the backrests. It has 2 metal brackets at the front that slide into it. To remove pull up on the rear of the seat and pull forward. Same is true for the spotter seat.

Update!

I have started this project again. I finally ordered my gel coat and smoothed the boat out. The white matches pretty well. The yellow I ordered better match after spending $100 on one quart of it. Here is where I'm at now. Have to wait on the mail to get more white.

Todays progress. Got the front sanded and waxed. It isn't perfect, but I'm happy with it. Also pulled the LED strips that were in my car and installed them under the seats. They are wired to the all around switch and have a button under the steering council that changes their color. More upgrades are in progress too.

Got the yellow gelcoat from gelcote who makes seadoo's gelcoat. Its not a perfect match, but its close enough to me. I also did some of the interior. I wasn't able to complete the rest because the temperature dropped too low. I'm hoping to have it all done by next weekend.

Boat is done! Here are some photos of the finished product. I will try to get some better photos in the sun later. I don't think most people will notice the damage unless they are looking for it.
