Finished winterizing today and it already snowed!

Well I saw a hard freeze in the forecast so I finished winterizing today. I dumped in the antifreeze to finish the process I started a week ago.

Looks like I was none too fast either, everything is starting to accumulate a coat of snow!


Until next May I guess. Although ski season is just around the corner.

Hahaha that's awesome. I can deal with cold, but I've never thought about trying to ride on an almost-frozen lake. That looks like the perfect place to take a sled and skim across the surface of the water.

Annndddd just like that I've already busted out the snow skis. I had a great day ski touring today.

Hoping for a good snow year, not only for skiing but for full(er) lakes next summer. We've had a couple years of below average snowfall which has caused the launch ramp to really suffer.

Maybe one day I'll get as hardcore as AKnarrowback and take a machine out in the middle of winter.
