My dealer is offering the B.E.S.T. which is SeaDoo's extended warranty.
1 year $1175
2 year $1800
3 year $2400
Another dealer down the road is offering the RPM One warranty for WAY LESS.
2 year $1199
3 year $1299
4 year $1499
I spoke with my service manager and he says he prefers the manufactuer's warranty because they have a flat rate and they're easy to work with. He also said if they make the contract then he'll sometimes eat the labor costs if BRP doesn't pay enough. With the 3rd party companies (as he called them) they sometime will not pay enough or at all. They are more difficult to work with and not all authorized SeaDoo dealers will honor them (which i'm told is not true, this other dealer says all authorized SeaDoo service centers should honor RPM One warranty).
Does anyone have any experience with this? Your feedback is appreciated .. this is a lot of cash for something I will probably never even use (I got lucky and bought the opposite of a lemon). I have a few days to think on it so let me know what your experience has been.
Thanks
