This may be a silly question but how does one remove the exhaust from a 99 gtx limited with a 951. I have removed all the obvious hardware, hoses ect, including the metal band. The exhaust seems loose, but I cannot separate it. Am I missing something or do I need to break apart the two halves?

It won't come out as one piece.
You will have to separate it at the band.
Take the band completely off and wiggle exhaust till it pops apart,
