Exhaust Leak Cause Hard Starts?

Top grey pipe on 93SPX (has hose coming off top) has 3 or 4 bolts holding on. One bolt broke off and now sprays water through gasket connection when hooked to flush kit.

Would this cause hard starting in water?
Would any kind of exhaust leak cause hard starting in water?

Yup… fix it.

My boat was hard starting last time out. When I got home, I found a leak on the manifold. If you fix it… it should be fine.
