Hi all, new to the forum, but been jet skiing for years. I currently own a 2006 GTX Limited and have lately noticed that my fuel usage has about doubled. I have 241 hours on the motor, new empeller this spring and all other maintenance done at the prescribed intervals. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It could be that your just using full throttle more than you used to. Unless it is leaking out somewhere, the fuel consumption shouldn't change too much.

Ethinol
Hey gang.
Here is my two cents. As you all know Ethinol is being put in all Unleaded fuel and I read an artical about the addition of Ethinol causeing gas engines to burn more fuel per mile. So if say in a car you used to get 20 miles to the gal years a go, now you could get as bad as 16 miles to the gal with nothing but Ethinol mixed with the Unleaded gas. Not my figueres. Read it in Boat US mag. This may or may not be the problem with the higher fuel consumption on this Doo but it effects us all whether we know it or not.
