Engine swap in a SP hull?

Hi All

Im a new owner of a Seadoo from 95 i think, it has a SP hull and a 587 "yellow" engine, but the engine need new bearings..
Is it posible to swap in a 717 engine? and if it is, do i then need a new carburator, or can i use the ones from the 587?

Or is it posible to tune the 587?

Do anyone know something about that?

You would need all new stuff... the 717 will bolt in and allign with the driveshaft but you need everything else from the 717 RV cover carbs exhaust and most importantly the electronics, stator and MPEM...
