electrical problems!!!!

1989 SP,not starting at switch. I can start the ski by jumping the solenoid, I have ohmed the switch (fine), the ski will stop with the stop button, and stop when the kill switch is pulled. i changed the solenoid today with a new one, still the same. Any suggestions would be outstanding!!!

when you insert your lanyard are you getting a signal on the wire? if you do get the signal then check your connections in the box and make sure there are no corroded broken wires, also once the lanyard is inserted are you getting signal to the start/stop switch? check those places first and let me know what you come up with.

Where should I check for the signal? At the end of the kill switch lines or at the start switch lines. This is an old ski so I don't know if it should beep or not.Thanks

should get power to one side of the lanyard then once you install the lanyard key you should get power on the other side, then should provide power to the start/stop switch.

pull the wires off kill key and put together, then hit start/stop button..
