I have a 06 sportster 215hp scic, I bought 3 weeks ago. I traded a ski and some cash for it. It wasn't running when I got it. the shop broke down motor and rebuilt it, replaced all the seals, gaskets, stretch bolts, replaced starter and battery. Now I need to porgram key. That sounds easy enough. But if the stator(magneto) is out or there is a lose wire somwhere.(so what I was told from previous owner). is still possible to program key? or will an earor occur? if magneto is not working corectly And I told them @ the shop that the magneto needed replaced. they should of put it in when they had the engine apart.
