My idle was a little off and not reving up past 3000 RPM, so I adjusted the screws to factory and then hooked up the hose, fired up engine and turned on the water and...!!!! WATER is shooting out of the head pipe from where one of the "welded" circles is.

What do I do? Take it off and weld it back? Why did it blow out??

What up Wood....yah, that aint good. Depend'n on yr/midel of ski, might find one on ebay, if weld'n it, I'd drill out that part, and install new bung, if you dont, possibly be chase'n cracks everywhere...good luck

What up TimBoy... Thanks.

JPX...That is it exactly. lol...only my hole came out of nowhere and is MUCH bigger than a pinhole...eraser size and looks corroded. What kind of stupid design is that anyways....*&&(*(***((###)?

Ohwell! So do I neeed a new one? Or can I just weld it shut??

HOLY CRAP!!!
They want $692 for the head pipe! Gotta weld it or find one laying around in a parts pwc...
Anyone got one?

Yeah, I got my replacement pipe from eBay. A used one that is a little banged up, but it works.....I think I paid $40 for mine.

New is CRAZY expensive.

And snipe was able to JB Weld his back together. But this might take some serious patience to do so it lasts.

If it is aluminum harbor frieght has aluminum rods that should work. all you will need is a propane torch. I have not tried their rods but I did try some 20+ years ago and they would surely fix the probem and if you were lucky and it was in site you could do the repair in the boat. Make sure that you have a fire exstingusher so that you do not burn your boat to the ground . Or at least get insurance before you try. Trust me when I was in my twenty's I have seen what I was working on burn up in front of me as water will only make maters worse. It was funy thinking back but believe me it was not funny at the time.

I'm letting the auction go ... Keeping my fingers crossed , but I got a guy locally that says he'lll get it welded shut no problem.....fingers crossed....
I'll let you know if it actually works.....

Maybe now (after repair) I'll be able to get back to trouble shooting why my rpms MAX out at 3000 with the wha wha wha clak clak clak that makes it sound like a rev limiter!!!!
