Hi Guys,

I've posted up my 2-strokes for sale on craigslist. I think I'm going to downsize for a while, and pick up a spark. SO... here they are......

Oh No.........Say it ain't so.

Lou

It's not a bad thing.

Here's the deal...

With the new job, I've got less time to play. So, when I do get out to the water... I normally take the boat. (That's what the fam wants to use) Besides... buying something more modern (spark) will let me build my knowledge on the new 4-strokes.

I understand completely, rarely do we take more than one ski to the lake, the ski's have become accessories for the boat. I'm just too cheap to buy a new one.

If I needed a ski I would buy your 96XP in a minute, but I just can't justify another ski.

Honey, I'm going to buy a new SeaDoo Spark.

Why, we use the boat and you already have a SeaDoo.

To build my knowledge on the new 4-strokes.

OK, go ahead Honey, that's a good reason. Did I tell you I want to build my knowledge about Maserati's?

If there was any way to get your XP up to Michigan I would take it right now. I just cant travel that far for a ski.

Would you consider selling just the hump seat if I also traded you my 96 non hump seat in very good condition?

Heck... I drove up to traverse city to get my Islandia. Besides... it's hard to find clean XP's these days. If you are in southern MI... it's not that far.

Someone else is already interested in the seat, if it doesn't get sold soon. Just buy the ski.

I'd love to buy the whole ski but just picked up an HX last night also. I need to cool it on the aquisitions for a while before I get in lady trouble...

I am Mid Michigan. Just north of Lansing. Can you PM me pics of any cosmetic issues with the XP? Thanks

Anything, rub rail and bumper nicks and gouges. Bottom of hull beaching scratches and gouges. Nicks and scratches in upper hull. I am looking for the nicest X4 I can find. Just want to know what I will see before driving 6 hours. Thanks.

I can get some pics... but I can tell you now that it's "Clean".... not "Show Room". That's why I was only asking $1500. So yes... the belly will have some scratch's... and the rub rail will have scratches all around. But there's no gouges in the deck, and it's not faded. (even the gauge needles are still orange)

So... it may not be what you are looking for.

But.... PM me your cell number, and I can take pics, and send them.

Really surprised that no one has jumped at this opportunity to pick up what you know are perfect running skis. Personally, I'd really like to take the Polaris off Doc's hands but don't have the room for it. I like to do 180 spins on my GSX's but I did one on Doc's Polaris once without even trying. Damn near threw my ass right off the ski. Shocked the hell out of me that I did a 180 from pretty much idle speed.

Thanks for the bump.

I've had a few questions... but no takers. I hate to do it... but I may just part them out. I'm tired of looking at them, and don't really want to store them this winter. I figure between the engines, trailer, and the gauges... I can get my asking price.

if I was near you I would buy it. doc just save it til next year and put them up right before the season. time to sell is the week or two before 4th of july

That was the problem this year. the early summer was HEAVY rain around pitt. So the rivers were high, and full of crap. And the local lakes were just simply closed because the water was 20' higher than normal. SO... the docks weren't out, and the ramps were way under water.

I basically pulled them, and got them going as soon as the weather was nice enough to ride this year.

I think my real issue is that the economy sux still... and trying to sell a "Package" with 2 skis, and a double trailer is rough. BUT... I don't want to put the $$$ into buying a single trailer. Or even spending the $$$ on the titles to swap someone a double for 2 singles.

If they don't sell in the next month or so... I think they are getting parted out.
