Hey, I figured you would be the best person to reach out to since you previously owned the same boat...Congrats on the Islandia by the way, I just read your thread about getting it back to life...

When we installed the new motor and put everything back together, we noticed a cable that didn't seem to plug into anything. Obviously, when doing a motor overhaul it's easy to get a little confused and forget something. I can't figure out what this plugs into... I thought maybe it's was the anchorage light in the back but that light runs fine so it's not that. The cable is located in the back of the boat in the engine bay and it seems to come out from around where the anchorage light is behind the foam soundproofing. I have included a pic to give you a better idea.

Also, as a side question, does pto boot using a wing nut in the m8 size??? nylon or medal?

Thanks for your help as always!

That boat has a blank gauge spot in the hood. It's pre-wired for some of the accessory gauges. So... that's the wire for the speedometer. (if you want to install one) There is also the plug for a tach under the storage bucket, at the helm.
