2022 fish pro trophy back at dealer service for repair. Gonna be down all summer, ETA of parts is August 15. This is second time in for warranty and was out for 3 months first time. BRP is aware of issue.

Lesson learned

Hate to say it because I bleed seadoo yellow, but if I was buying a newer 4-stoke it would be a Yamaha.

What is wrong with your ski?

Electrical, the system fried and they repaired it under warranty.

Electric fried again, replacing backordered main harness again and peobably not fix underlying issue.
, fusible links between batteries were blown, swivel seat fault, radio would not cut off, parasitic battery drain. Luckily carry portable battery pack or would have been stuck, twice.

Other than electrical issues, BRP authorized dealer/service center lacking, BRP not stocking parts, BRP being useless in repair, Not so great design with live well rendering it useless, Dual battery design a major flaw, the anchor is complete garbage, transducer leaks, potential carbon seal failure

Well yeah, get a yamaha, all the extra expense for the sea doo is not worth it,

Just got a spam email for this thread, that was a sign to update.
Yes indeed, do yourself a favor and dont purchase a sea doo.

Four months later ski is at the 2nd authorized BRP service center. The awesome service advisor said that a " hum" in the audio system is normal and that the power button doesnt turn the the audio off, it only goes off when the ski is shut down. I showed him the manual, holding in the power button above the speaker for 3 seconds powers audio off. They did not want to make the repair as there was nothi g wrong with it.
I dropped the ski off at an independant shop for a 2nd opinion and reassurance that the ski functioned properly. Engine and charging system are both good. Right control switch was not functioning.
Dropped the unit off at another BRP authorized servive center and ski was out of warranty. Looked into trading in the sea doo doo 2022 with 227 hours was 3500$. So I had to jump through hoops and purchase the BRP B.E.S.T warranty. Then they did not want to cover replacing the r/l control switches. Have all the paperwork showing it sat at the dealer for months while under warranty. They honored the repair.
Here's the kicker, went to pick up the ski last week, leaving work early again. Paid the 50 buck best deductible and turned on ski in parking lot. Audio system still not turning off and humming. Went back in to see service advisor.
Service manager got involved and the tech came out as well. Tech said no, audio is normal, must be interference from wires being to close together or something. I explained everything to manager and he said lets get this fixed right away.
The tech then slapped the ski and said I remember this baby from the other place. Hr must have gotton fired from the other place and on his way out at this one. What are the odds

With my experience of BRP and authorized service centers, how could I recommed a sea doo doo to anyone.

Yes, most likely yamahaha is same service center, but for the out of pocket expenses and lost time from work dealing with BRP. My next purchase is yama

Long winded and left some out, so over this, hopefully be back on the water soon
