Does the exhaust flush port require a plug?

So, I just bought the GTX 260. The dealer had installed a plug in the exhaust flush port. This is the port on the far right side of the aft bulkhead.
I noticed other machines elsewhere on the dealers floor didn't have this plug installed. I asked the dealer sales people and they honestly had no clue on this.
I read through the manual and there I discovered what the port was but found nothing about it needing to be plugged.
So I come here to the experts. Does this port get a plug or not?

Never heard of an "exhaust port"...looks like a hull drain plug to me. There ain't one on the other side of the pump? Twist off....o-ring and a keeper?

No. If it is an exhaust port, it does not have a plug. That exhaust is split off of the main exhaust that comes through your impeller area. My GTI has the separate exhaust port layout.

The bottom two ports are the Drain ports shown in the photos.
It's not an exhaust port. It's an "exhaust flush port". Your supposed to hook up a water hose to it and run regular water through the system after being out on salt water.

I found an answer to my post. The port plug in question is supposed to remain off. This allows water to cycle through the machine and out that port. Honestly Seadoo should have a note some place that says this. Even a safety sticker not to plug that port.

Mine on the far left is open where I hook up the water hose. I have a quick connect hooked to it however it remains open all the time. The 2 closer to the pump stays shut in water. I'm still not sure why yours was shut?

This is my first post here and excuse me if i'm wrong. But from watching some youtube videos and searching around this is the exhaust flush port (as mentioned above). from past experience i know that this will shoot water out when in use so it should not be blocked.

Side question without hijacking this thread. For my gti se 155 what adapter do i need in order to flush it?
its the one that goes in to the hole in question here.

a regular hose end will thread right in.

all the newer skis such as the IBR systems have this flush port. it should not be plugged but you do have to be careful not to loosen the fitting(water will leak in if you do) when attaching/removing the hose or flush adapter.
