dirty hand grips

Can anyone give me some suggestions for cleaning the black "moldy" looking stuff off my hand grips and back grab bar? They are the pink or red color ones on a 94 xp. thanks

if you have a air compressor use a inflator needle to blow the grips off the bars.

take them inside let them soak in a bowl of hotwater and laundry soap (tide).

reinstall using the air trick

try some waterless had cleaner like gojo
then rinse

Just replace them with new ones. They are relatively cheap.

After a while, they get to getting kinda sticky and almost like they are melting.
