DESS Problem - Please Help!

I have two 2003 GTI-LE RFI Sea Doos. They have the same DESS codes programmed in the lanyards and ski, so I can use either key in either Sea-Doo.
One of the Sea-Doos will not start. It will not even beep when the lanyard is plugged in. Both lanyards still work in the other Sea Doo. To trouble shoot I switched the MPEM and the "bad" Sea Doo would run with the module from the "Good" Sea Doo.

OK, so assume either the Module is bad OR could the Module have lost the DESS code? I need a Sea Doo expert. Please help. Thanks.

I would check the fuses in the MPEM first. is the only thing you switched is the module. I hope you disconnected the battery first...(Positive first than the negative). Could it be the battery wasn't connected properly the first time?

Hey Karl, I checked the fuses first and they are all OK. The MPEM was the only thing I changed.

If the wrong lanyard is plugged in the ski will it still beep twice? I'm still wondering about the DESS code in the MPEM corrupted.
