I have a 08 speedster 150 155hp
Want to add a depthfinder. I would like to mount the transducer in the engine compartment. In front of the intake. the hull has a flat spot ( on the outside of the hull)which seem like the best spot for the transducer. Dose anyone know if the hull is all glass at the flat spot in front of the intake or is there a core of wood or foam or something . The instructions says it dosen't like core products.
Or is there a better spot?
Where does the factory mount them?
