Hello,

I have a 951 DI that I'm rebuilding. I was wondering if the condition of the crankcase mating surfaces are bad? I've attached some pictures if you could leave any input that would be appreciated.

I would just hit them with a wet stone like for sharpening knives to address any high spots then seal with ThreeBond 1184. You should always pressure test a new engine anyway so that will guarantee no air leaks.

Thanks for the feedback, I already have some Loctite 5910. So ill just use that it should work also. Could you attach a picture of what kind of wet stone? Like are you talking about a little one or a big block of it?
