2004 Sportster LE DI (951cc 2-stroke)
Boat was running real fine. Then I hit some sand. No apparent damage so I left the beach and got the boat for a ride. Was working perfectly fine until about 5-7 minute at high throttle (40mph), its started to beep. Like two second beeps every 2 seconds. And it only stops if I slow down. Got it up to 40mph again, 2 min after, same thing. I did put my hand on the engine / exhaust pipe inside the hull; not hot at all. Also (maybe totally unrelated) the fuel gauge started working again!
Did get the boat out of the water for a garden hose flush, then back for a test, same result.
