Has anyone updated a 2010 cluster firmware to use a 4 button left pad?
On a 2010 rxtx you can add the 4 button pad on the left handlebar to add sport and eco mode with vts but in buds pressing the two new buttons does not register.
In 2011 and 2013 they do register with the same cluster. So I'm wondering what firmware in the buds database do I need to update the cluster to ?
I was thinking of just changing the model number and vin to a 2013 model and let buds tell me it needed am update or maybe just connecting this cluster to a 2013 machine and letting it update. But if all I'd have to do is flash some firmware to the cluster that would be much easier. It's a brand new 2010 part number cluster so i didnt want to just experiment quite yet.
