From removing the plugs and purging out the fogging oil, I made a mess of the inside of the hull on a 1996 gtx....am I able to remove battery and hose down the motor and hull?...or are these not that water tight on the inside and I'll end up hurting the magneto and all?

use simple green or Super clean.
I like SC better...Walmart has it for about $8 a gallon. Pour in 3-5 gallons of warm to hot water in the hull and some SC ...maybe 4 oz then drive around with it on the trailer then open the drain plugs and flush it with the hose. tilt the trailer if needed.

Won't hurt any internals under the seat (motor, carbs, magento etc)...i got a nice mess inside there from some fogging and fuel spit out

Personally I do like SuperClean or PurplePower, pretty much the same thing. I like to spray in on then hose it off, much safer than having it slosh around, just leave it on for maybe 5 mins., and use a small brush if necessary. You can also do it a second time. Try to stay away from electrical components especially the starter.

Be careful with the SuperClean as I have had it discolor plastic parts and taken the shine off the seadoo engine paint.
