Cleaning Exhaust Valve

does anyone know the proper way to clean the exhaust valves, can they becleaned or do you just replace them

I cleaned mine with brake kleen and a rag. I used steel wool to take off the heavier carbon.

There is a good post in here covering the complete tear down, cleaning, and assembly of rave valves. I think it is by seadoosnipe. do not remeber though. If you got them apart you should clean them and replace oring and the rubber boots/cups. I rebuild mine twice a year, but i live in az and we a long season also.
