Just bought two runners, a 2007 GTI SE and a 2007 GTX, I can't seem to locate the the inlet to flush them out when finished. My brother has two GTI, but he had his moved up top before he took ownership. Any feedback would be great.
On the rear of the HULL is a threaded fitting above the Jet Nozzle. The hose attaches there to flush it. It just threads in.You only need to flush the exhaust for like 20 seconds as that unit has a inter looping cooling system. Only the exhaust gets flushed. If you run it longer than 30 seconds max, the engine will over heat because it gets its cooling from the transfer plate in the ride plate, that depends on the water it floats in to keep cool.
On the rear or the jet pump...the thing that makes the seadoo go, is the jet pump. The Nozzle is the round item that directs the water from the jet pump. Just above the assy. is a tube, or pipe looking thing with threads in it to screw a garden hose into.
I hope this clears that up for you. If you still have questions give us a shout...we all had to learn some how.
