Well here it is Labor Day weekend and the whole family is out to see the new boat and do some tubing and wouldn’t ya know the boat would start acting up. I’ve had it for about a month now with no issues except for the cloud of smoke at startup that everyone says is normal. Thursday afternoon we had been tubing for about 30 min and cut the engine to change out riders. When restarting it acted like it was flooded and restarted after about a 15 to 20 min wait. After getting it to the dock I restarted it and it started fine so I assumed it had just been flooded. Yesterday morning we took it out and it ran fine in forward with no throttle. When applying throttle it bogged down and did not accelerate. After turning it off it would not re start. This morning I started it in the drive and it started first crank. I let it flush for a few minutes then shut it down. Again it would not re start. I gave it about 2hrs and still would not restart. I then changed the plugs and still would not start. I checked the electric fuel pump as shown in the service manual and it appears to be functioning. Any ideas before I take it in?

Two things I always hear about difficulty restarting these engines: 1) temperature sensor on port side; 2) low voltage. Both of these items trick the computer and cause starting problems.
