Was wondering if anyone could help? I bought some carbs off of ebay and it said they were sea doo carbs. When I look at my shop manual it says seadoos use the Mikuni carbs. These carbs I got from Ebay are Klien carbs CDK 2 it says on them. Another question, my skis are 89 and a 90 my manual says pre 91 the carbs have the fuel pump on the carb. After 91 the fuel pump is integrated on the carb. So if I have the external fuel pump and I am able to use these ebay carbs, is it workable to just eliminate the external fuel pump? Does any seadoos use these Klien carbs? Thanks for any help

Klein....

Klein carbs are after market carbs. They are used in a lot of modification applications. You can use them, if you set them up correctly. You'll need to look in the back of your manual where the spec sheet is. Look under fuel system, you'll see the carb and jet sizes. You'll need to make sure these carbs fit the proper jet sizes, or you'll either lean out or choke the engine. If your not sure, then you can put them on, give them a try and if they seem to run well, make sure to read your plugs. Because you may be running lean and burn the motor up.

The. I'm not real familar with that set up, but the Mikuni carbs use a pulse line from the block to drive the fuel pump that is on the side of the MAG Mikuni Carb. If you have an external fuel pump and the Klein has an internal, then just don't connect the pulse line to the Klein, connect it to your external pump.

thanks dude! Yeah after looking further, I should have looked at the ebay auction a little better. It said sea doo carbs but If I had looked @ my shop manual I could have seen it wasn't. I looked at them closer last night and I don't see any way they will fit. Way too big. BUt that's what I get for ebaying. Not the first time not the last. Thanks, for your response. These thing are my winter project and I am going to be on this board often. It is good to know there are still people that are willing to help. Thanks again.
