Hi all,
I have rebuilt the carbs on on one of my engines (Rotax 787) and realized that I didn't take note of the high-speed mixture screw setting before dissasembling and replacing the O-rings.:ack: The plastic caps that the maintenance manual refers to are missing off of both HSA screws and I am worried about damaging the engine. Searching the forums I found much information about the LSA/HSA settings but I want to make sure that I completely understand how to initially set the HSA before I take it out and attempt to optimize it.
I read the "carb tuning guide" posted by Seadoosnipe (Thanks!) but wasn't able to extract exactly how I should initially set the HSA before I take the boat out and do a plug check. The motor is stock.
Thank you in advance for the help!
