So I have a 97 GTX and 96 GSX. I want to rebuild the carbs. Should I start them up after being winterized and in storage before I do? I won't have access to a hose as I have to store them in a storage facility. I would only be able to run them for 10 - 15 seconds at a time since I don't have running water. Would it be necessary to find a hose hookup either before rebuilding or after to test for a minute or 2 before heading 45 minutes to the lake? Also what fire extinguishers would fit these skis? I'm sure the old ones wouldn't work if I needed them.
