Do you have a Seadoo dealer near you? maybe bring the engine with you & see if they would let you use it for a small fee? Just a thought....

Seeing the engine rotates some, you might be able to use the rope trick to get the flywheel off too. Its incredible how tight those things can be. Racers suggestion basically fills the combustion chamber with un compressible rope so the crankshaft will not turn to TDC. Then you can get some leverage on the PTO flywheel to remove it. I had a 720 that was so tight I had to do some really unconventional things to hold the engine in place.

I don't think there is anywhere to clamp it onto. Hopefully Racer or someone else will chime back in & will confirm. When using the tool, sometimes they pop right off, & sometimes you have to get the tool really tight & tap the tool with a hammer. I had one that I had the tool as tight as I could get it. I walked back to my tool box to grab a persuader & the dang thing popped off by itself. I was so lucky, as it was inches from falling off my bench to the concrete floor. Do you have smaller "friendly" service center near you? That might be the quickest way to get it off.

Gotta have the puller, that is why I put special puller in parenthesis. I knew I should have put links to the tools, LOL. I'm just trying to save you headaches.

With the below puller, just thread it on the snout of the flywheel and run the screw into the end of the crank, get it nice and tight. Sometimes i'll blip it with my impact gun, then with a 3# mini sledge hammer give the bolt a firm whack. POP, and it comes right off.

Here is the same puller for $24 shipped
