Busted my face on my handle bars today

Hit a jump like in my pic, but was on the GSX today...I should have bailed but for some reason I held on....tail went down first and I think I hit the sandy bottom and smashed my face on my handle bars, and scraped all the skin off my knees from the traction mat on the back. Thought I lost all my teeth, but they are all there. Just wanted to share. Lesson learned.....when in doubt...BAIL!!!!:lols:

Ive done that on my bars and boy do I wish I had the stock bars on it still because hitting UMI bars hurts really bad..

Yeah, glad you are ok. Would have been a bad way to break in your new ride by smashing your teeth out on it.

yeah..with the GTI I can get away with smashing the throttle before a big wave...it does not have the power to get into to much trouble...but with the GSX limited...you smash the throttle before the wave and you are going skyward!!! LOL. Glad Capt Scale was there to see it...would have been all for nothing if nobody saw it happen LMAO!!!:lols:

I hit a big wake a few weeks ago and had a "holy crap" moment myself. All I had was a grip on the handle bars with my a** high in the air. I managed to pull myself back to the ski and land with my feet back on the traction mat. Adrenaline kicked in a little after that one!

My local marine supplier is the best!!!I stopped in at lunch and told them what happened and Told them I broke my sunglasses that I bought from them a few weeks ago..They replaced the pair at no charge (no reciept to even prove I bought them there)....and for no reason at all... They will have my buisness for life!!!! :cheers:

Well today I finally got the rest of my teeth fixed LOL!!! Never reposted but I broke 3 teeth in the back when the handlbars smashed my face, and I didnt think much of it untill they got infected, and I had to get 3 root canals and, then finally today my permenent crowns came in.
