Seadoo Sportster 717 engine. Starboard engine has been smoking more and I am using a lot more oil. I replaced the manifold due to broken bolts and have an exhaust leak. I must not have used enough gasket seal. Can this cause more oil usage??

Nope,,,those are noted for the internal crank oil seals leaking,,.the entire crank needs to be replaced,,,unless you have a connection with acrank rebuilder,,,its also possible that the rotary valve seal is leaking oil at the intake,,,rare,,,but can happen,,,

Thank you for the info. I replaced the port engine with a rebuild and the starboard engine is tired and likely in need of what you describe here.
